The Camera
Everyone Forgets.
A collaboration proposal from Charm Entertainment to Insta360, built around the Link 2C Pro. Creator content, professional videography, and the one piece of kit nobody thinks to upgrade.
Introduced, and coming in with a plan.
We haven't spoken yet, so rather than send a vague hello I wanted to put something concrete in front of you: exactly what a Link 2C Pro collaboration would look like across my channels, with the content already mapped out.
Here's why this product interests me specifically. Creators spend thousands on cameras, lights and mics, then appear on every call, stream and client review through a webcam they bought for £30 in 2020. It's the last unfixed link in the chain, and almost nobody talks about it. That is a genuinely good content angle, and it happens to be exactly what the Link 2C Pro solves.
I run three channels covering gaming and tech, science and travel, and professional videography. That gives Insta360 three different rooms to walk into: the streamer upgrading their setup, the curious viewer who wants to know why sensor size matters, and the working videographer who can vouch that the thing holds up. The proposal below covers all three.
Three audiences. 24M+ views in the last year.
Charm Entertainment
The professional videography arm. Client work includes brand shoots for Logitech G and others, where image quality is the deliverable rather than a nice-to-have. That matters here: a webcam recommendation carries more weight coming from someone who shoots commercially and knows exactly what they are comparing it against. Content under this profile puts the Link 2C Pro in front of an audience of working and aspiring videographers.
What I want to put in front of my audiences.
Insta360 Link 2C Pro
The centre of this proposal. A 1/1.3-inch sensor in a webcam is the kind of spec jump that makes for genuinely satisfying before-and-after content, and the fixed form factor keeps it simple for desk and stream setups.
- 1/1.3-inch sensor, the largest in its class
- 4K30 / 1080p60, F1.9, 24mm equivalent
- Dual native ISO for low-light rooms
- AI auto framing, gesture control, DeskView
- Dual beamforming mics, four pickup modes
- 48.5g, magnetic mount with 1/4" thread
Insta360 Link 2 Pro
Same sensor, plus the 2-axis gimbal. Having both in hand unlocks the single most useful video for your buyers: an honest side-by-side that answers "which one do I actually need?" rather than leaving people to guess.
- 2-axis gimbal with AI tracking
- Ideal for standing, presenting and moving shots
- Enables a direct 2C Pro vs 2 Pro buying guide
- Answers the top question in every comment section
Insta360 X5
Only if there's appetite to go wider. The X5 slots into ProfBCox travel content and Charm Entertainment client shoots, giving Insta360 a presence beyond the desk. Happy to leave this out and keep the focus on the Link range.
- 360 capture for travel and science field content
- BTS coverage on commercial shoots
- Broadens the partnership past the webcam category
Four ideas. Ready to shoot.

"Your setup is £2,000. Your webcam is £30."
The hook writes itself. A split-screen of the same gaming room shot on a standard webcam and on the Link 2C Pro, in the exact lighting conditions gamers actually have: dark room, one monitor, some RGB. The dual native ISO and F1.9 aperture do the arguing for me. This is the format my audience already engages with hardest, and the visual gap is the whole video.
ProfBCox
"The science of why you look terrible on video calls"
A skit explaining sensor size, aperture and light gathering, using the fact that everyone on your last Teams call looked like a police interview. The punchline is that it was never their face, it was a sensor the size of a grain of rice. ProfBCox turns spec-sheet numbers into something people actually understand and share, which is exactly the job a 1/1.3-inch sensor claim needs doing for it.
Charm Entertainment
"A working videographer tests a webcam"
I put the Link 2C Pro next to the cinema kit I use on paid client shoots and give an honest read on where it holds up and what it replaces. This is the credibility piece. Coming from someone who shoots commercially for brands like Logitech G, "good enough that I'd use it for client calls and remote reviews" is a far stronger endorsement than any unboxing, and it reaches the professional buyer that creator content usually misses.
CharmTheGamer
"2C Pro or 2 Pro? Pick in 60 seconds."
A straight buying guide covering who needs the gimbal and who is better off saving the money on the fixed model. Comparison content keeps earning views long after the upload date and captures people already searching with intent to buy. It also removes the hesitation that costs you sales, since an undecided buyer usually buys nothing rather than guessing wrong.
Product gifting in exchange for dedicated content across all channels.
In return for product across the items above, I'll produce dedicated content spanning TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, to the same standard I deliver for paid brand clients. No filler. No logo drops. Real integration. Usage rights for Insta360's own channels and paid media are included, so anything that performs is yours to run with.
I'm also open to hearing what Insta360 is pushing to creators right now. If there's a product, a launch window or an angle that serves you better than what's above, reply and let's shape it together.
